Extended Warranty through Cover Genius is available only for customers located in the United States.
Step 1 - Activate your XCover Account
You must activate your account before you can submit a claim. It is recommended to activate the account right after the purchase, however, you can still do it afterwards.
Find the XCover activation email or SMS
Click the activation link
Log in to view your protection and claim options
Step 2 - Start your claim
Go to xcover.com/claim to begin. There, you’ll be asked for:
Your SteelSeries device details
A description of the issue
Supporting documents
Step 3 - Upload the required documents
Most delays happen because of missing documents, so make sure to have these prepared:
Photos or videos
Receipts
Repair appointment confirmations
Emails/messages related to the issue
The more evidence provided upfront, the faster the resolution! If anything will be missing, Cover Genius will follow-up with you. Upload any requested evidence through the Claims Centre in your XCover Account.
Step 4 - Submit your claim
Make sure it’s not still saved as a draft. This article from XCover explains how to check if your claim has been fully submitted.
Step 5 - Track your claim
Log in to your account and navigate to Your Claim to:
View your claim status
See message history
Check for missing document requests
XCover typically replies within 2–3 business days.
