How can I purchase an extended warranty for my SteelSeries product?
If you are based in the US, you can purchase an extended warranty during checkout when buying directly from SteelSeries.com.
Can I get it for an order I made in the past?
Extended warranty can only be purchased at the time of product purchase. It cannot be added later to an order that has already been completed. If you missed the option during checkout, we’re not able to add it afterward.
How do I manage my Cover Genius account?
To view your coverage, submit a claim, or update your details, you must activate your account first.
Step 1 — Find your activation link
Check your inbox or spam folder for the XCover confirmation SMS or email sent right after your SteelSeries.com purchase.
Step 2 — Click the activation link
This unlocks your warranty, documents, and all service options.
If you can’t find the email:
Check spam/promotions
Check all email addresses you may have used
Make sure that the extended warranty option was selected on checkout. You should be able to see it on your SteelSeries invoice.
If you think there was a typo, XCover can update your email after verification (full name, purchase time, phone number, purchase ID).
