The Arctis 7 is quick to set up on PC, Mac or PlayStation. Follow the steps below to get game audio, mic, and chat working correctly in no time!
To get started, you'll need the following:
Arctis 7 headset
USB Wireless Transmitter
PC, PlayStation, or Mac with an available USB port
Once you have everything prepped, follow these steps:
- Plug the USB Wireless Transmitter into your PC or PlayStation USB port.
- Power on your Arctis 7 by pressing and holding the power button for 3 seconds.
- Wait a few seconds for the headset to connect automatically.
You should hear audio once the headset is paired.
If your Arctis 7 does not connect automatically, re-pair the headset with the wireless transmitter.

Configure audio on Windows
Right-click the speaker icon in the taskbar and open Sound settings.
- Under Playback β Select Arctis 7 Game β Click Set Default
- Under Recording β Select Arctis 7 Microphone β Click Set Default
- In your VoIP or chat app (Discord, Teamspeak, etc.) β Set Arctis 7 Chat as the default audio device.
Configure audio on macOS
- Open System Settings (or System Preferences) β Sound.
- Under Output β Select Arctis 7 Game
- Under Input β Select Arctis 7 Microphone
