Tired of your game audio randomly switching to your monitor speakers right as you drop in? Adjusting your Backup Device Switch settings locks in your audio routing, ensuring your game sound and comms stay exactly where you need them.
Here is how to set your preferred gear to the highest priority:
Setup Steps:
Open SteelSeries GG and go to Sonar.
Select a device within the mixer and click Device Manager.
Under Backup Device Switch, move your desired device into the Playback devices list.
Make sure your preferred device is set as (1). This assigns it the highest priority.
Repeat this process to ensure your gear is set to priority (1) on every single tab: GAME, CHAT, MEDIA, AUX, and MIC.
Restart your device and SteelSeries GG to lock in the changes and get back in the game.
