Error Code 1 - Sonar Process Interruption
What does Sonar Error Code 1 mean?
Error Code 1 means the Sonar process was interrupted or unexpectedly closed. This can happen if Sonar was ended through Windows Task Manager or if another app closed it in the background.
How do I fix Sonar Error Code 1?
Start by clicking the Retry button on the error screen. In most cases, this will automatically restore Sonar and get your audio back online.
The error is still showing—what now?
If Retry does not resolve the issue, fully close SteelSeries GG before continuing with further troubleshooting. This helps ensure Sonar is not still running in the background.
- Locate the GG icon in your system tray (usually found at the bottom-right corner of your screen).
- Right-click on the GG icon.
- Select "Exit" to close the application completely.
- Relaunch GG:
- Once GG is closed, restart the application to ensure all processes are running correctly.
