Discord may be using the wrong microphone input instead of the SteelSeries Sonar Microphone device.
Try these steps!
- Open Discord.
- Click the gear icon next to your username to open User Settings.
- Select Voice & Video.
- Under Input Device, choose SteelSeries Sonar Microphone.
- Use Discord’s Mic Test to confirm your voice is coming through.
Mic still not working, try these steps.
- Make sure Sonar is enabled in SteelSeries GG.
- In Sonar, confirm your physical microphone is selected under the Mic channel.
- Check that Discord is not muted and that Input Volume is turned up.
- Fully restart Discord after changing your input device.
