A recent Windows update added an Audio Enhancements setting that can clash with Sonar—especially your mic settings. This can lead to audio issues, unexpected processing, or your microphone not behaving as expected.
How do I fix it?
Try disabling Windows Audio Enhancements:
- Open Windows Settings.
- Go to System → Sound.
- Select your microphone under Input.
- Find Audio Enhancements.
- Set it to Off.
Once it’s disabled, jump back into Sonar and test your mic again. Your audio should be back in the game.
GLHF!
