Your MSI keyboard lighting may not be working if the wrong SteelSeries Engine version is installed, the software needs a clean reinstall, or another RGB app is taking control of the lighting.
Click here to make sure you're on the latest version!
If you are on the latest version, try these steps!
- Open Windows Settings → Apps and uninstall your current SteelSeries Engine/GG installation.
- Restart your PC.
- Delete the old installer file you previously downloaded.
- Run the new installer from MSI and complete the installation.
- Restart your PC twice after installation.
- Open SteelSeries Engine/GG and check whether your keyboard RGB is back online.
Apps such as SignalRGB, MSI Mystic Light, or other RGB-control software can clash with SteelSeries lighting controls. Close or disable other RGB apps, then test your keyboard again.
