Is your Audio Visualizer not reacting to your music or game audio? Let's check a few quick settings to get your lights synced up again.
Disable PRISM Sync
Disable PRISM Sync as it will override the Audio Visualizer. Go to the Engine Apps tab in SteelSeries GG and make sure the PRISM Sync toggle is turned OFF.
Check for Conflicting RGB software
Other peripheral software such as SignalRGB can fight for control over your device's lighting endpoints. Temporarily fully close any other RGB or motherboard lighting software running in the background to see if Audio Visualizer regains control.
Check your USB connection
Audio Visualizer requires a solid, fast data connection to process the audio spectrum in real time. Make sure your SteelSeries gear is plugged directly into a USB 3.0 port on your PC's motherboard. Avoid using external USB hubs, monitor passthroughs, or docking stations, as these can disrupt the data flow causing the visualizer to freeze or not react.
Sonar Virtual Audio Routing
If you use the SteelSeries Sonar feature, your PC's audio is being routed through virtual channels (like Sonar - Game or Sonar - Media). Make sure the Audio Visualizer is picking up the correct channel, and double-check that your game or music app isn't accidentally outputting to a channel that the visualizer isn't listening to.
