🎮 Can I Use a Keyboard on My Console or Handheld?
TL;DR: It depends!
Most modern platforms — including Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch (and Switch 2) — do support keyboards... but mostly for text input, menus, and non-gaming apps.

🟥 PlayStation: Plug in your device, then head to Settings > Devices to tweak things.
🟥 Nintendo Switch / Switch 2: No keyboard settings menu, but yes — it’ll work for text input when needed.
💻 Steam Deck: Full keyboard and mouse support — it’s basically a mini PC. Use Desktop Mode or pair via USB-C/Bluetooth. Custom configs and macros? Go wild.
🛠️ Can I Use My Custom Key Config?
Yep — if your keyboard supports onboard profiles, these will carry over:
✅ Keypress Bindings
✅ Mouse Button Bindings
❌ Macros? Nope. Most consoles won’t recognize them — they don’t save to the device.
🎮 Will It Work in My Game?
That’s up to the game devs. Some titles allow keyboard/mouse on console — others completely block it. You'll need to check the game’s official FAQ or forums to confirm.
