If your Arctis Pro Wireless isn’t reconnecting to the transmitter after a firmware update, no worries, as this can usually be fixed with a quick reset and re-pair!
Let’s walk through it step by step.
🔁 Step 1: Reset the Transmitter
Start by resetting the base station:
- On the transmitter, go to Options > System > Reset
- Confirm the reset
This clears any temporary glitches from the update and gives us a clean slate.
🔗 Step 2: Re-pair the Headset
Now let’s reconnect your headset to the transmitter:
- On the base station, go to Options > Pairing
- Select Next, then Next again
- The screen should now display “Pairing in progress…”
Next, switch over to your headset:
- Turn the headset ON
- Press and hold the volume wheel for 6+ seconds
- You should hear two beeps, and the white LED will start blinking faster
Note: If “Beeps” are disabled, you won’t hear the sound, but pairing mode will still activate.
Once paired successfully, the transmitter will display “Connected”.

- Click the banner in SteelSeries GG
- Try running the firmware update again
After this, your headset and transmitter should be back in sync and ready to roll!
