Need to move your audio from full-room sound to private comms? The steps depend on whether you are using a wired or wireless headset.

Wired Headsets

  1. Connect your headset to the 3.5 mm headset jack on the right Arena 7 speaker.
  2. The speakers will automatically mute, and audio will switch to the connected headset.
  3. To switch between your headset and the Arena 7 speakers, press the multifunction button once. You can find it on the base of the right speaker.
  4. The indicator LED will turn orange while headset mode is active.

Arena 7 also supports the microphone on compatible wired headsets. On Windows, make sure Arena 7 is selected as your recording device if the microphone is not being detected.

Wireless Headsets

Supported wireless headsets can be selected through SteelSeries Sonar:

  1. Open SteelSeries GG.
  2. Go to Sonar → Mixer.
  3. Open the playback device menu for the audio channels you use, such as Game or Chat.
  4. Select your wireless headset.
  5. To return to your speakers, select Arena 7 again.
