If you are experiencing connection issues, resetting and re-pairing the headset and base station may resolve the problem.
Step 1: Reset the Base Station
- On the transmitter (base station), press the large media wheel.
- Navigate to:
System Settings > Reset > Yes - Confirm the reset and follow the on-screen prompts.
This will quickly restore the base station to its default settings.
Step 2: Re‑Pair the Headset
- On the transmitter, go to:
Wireless > 2.4G > Pair
Use the big wheel to move between the steps. - When you see “Pair” highlighted with a white background, press the wheel again to view the pairing instructions.
- Turn the headset off.
- Press and hold the headset’s power button for at least 6 seconds, or until you hear a beep.
This puts the headset into pairing mode so it can reconnect to the base station.
Step 3: Power Cycle Everything
For a deeper reset, especially if issues persist:
- Unplug all cables from the transmitter.
- Remove the batteries from the headset and the transmitter (if applicable).
- Leave everything disconnected for at least 2 hours.
- After the break, reinsert the batteries, plug all cables back into the transmitter, power everything on, and test your audio and connection.
After completing these steps, your SteelSeries Nova Pro Wireless setup should be fully reset, freshly paired, and ready to use again. If problems continue, consider checking for firmware updates or contacting SteelSeries support for further troubleshooting.
