You may need to enable the input monitoring permissions in Security & Privacy Settings for it to work. You can access this setting via the following:
- Apple Menu -> System Preferences -> Security & Privacy -> Enable Input Monitoring
If SteelSeries GG or Engine is already listed but not working, remove it from the Input Monitoring list, restart your Mac, then re-add it and enable the permission again.
If you are using an Xbox version headset, make sure the transmitter or dongle is set to USB and not the Xbox mode.
