You can control each virtual channel with a keyboard shortcut that you can set however you want! Plus, you can use those shortcuts to switch between devices too. Just go to Settings in GG, then pick Sonar, and then Shortcuts. Customizing these shortcuts lets you change devices and volume instantly without having to open the app.
