Do you ever wish to listen to some lofi music while farming or ever want to listen to you favorite streamer while getting better at the same game? We are hyped to introduce the channel routing option, think about it like 4 different audio channels pumping into your headset or speakers! Here is how to set it up and some helpful tips as well!
-
Make sure you are on GG 35.0 or higher. You can do this by going into the settings options under “Settings” > "About" to check if you are on the latest version.
-
Head to your mixer and open up the settings panel (cog icon) of one of the additional channels. This is where you will be prompted to add a playback device and then add an app to the device route option which means being able to select the source which you wish to play audio from. Please note - You will have to launch the app as well as play audio from the source so it will be visible in the windows audio options.
-
When you have selected your audio you will be prompted to set this option in your Windows 10/11 audio settings.
Windows 10
Windows 11
-
Once you have linked, the app to whichever channel you’d like to use it in, then you are done with the setup! You will no longer need to set it up ever again as you will be able to use the same audio option each time you launch Sonar.
