What does it mean to over-poll at 9K on the Rival Pro?

For every eight data packets the mouse sends to the base station, we send one extra to ensure that the PC is always receiving the full 8K USB throughput it can handle (8K is the limit of USB 2.0 / High Speed).

We do not recommend having the base station plugged into a 3.0 port, as it may affect performance due to the additional EMI that a USB 3.0 port provides.
