Have you played with too many settings?
If you’re getting a blank screen, loading circle, or GG isn’t opening for you at all, try the following:
**If you have a VPN installed Please make sure to navigate to Program Files > SteelSeries >GG and ensure that both SteelSeriesGG.exe as well as SteelSeriesGGClient.exe are added to your exception lists. If this did not help, please try to completely remove your VPN and try to reinstall GG. If the loading circle or black screen is still showing please try the following,

Step 1:
Fully close the SteelSeries GG app. If you don’t see an icon, GG might still be lurking in the background. Open Task Manager (Ctrl+Shift+Esc), find "SteelSeries GG" or "GG" in Processes, and End Task to fully close GG from your system.

In Task Manager, find and click on GG, select the ‘More Details’ tab.
Select GG and go ahead click ‘End Task’.
Step 2:
Press the Windows key (or click the Start icon) to open the launcher — time to deploy. Type: SteelSeries GG.
Step 3:
When the GG result appears, choose Run as administrator (right-side option or right-click the result → Run as administrator). Grant permission like you’re giving it admin-level loot.
IMPORTANT: You will run GG as administrator only ONCE.
Step 4:
After launching as admin, complete whatever setup/step you needed to do, then fully close GG again — repeat Step 1 to make sure no background minions remain.
Respawn the app and check performance
- Launch SteelSeries GG normally. It should spawn cleanly and behave as intended.
