All of the Moments clips are not tied to your account, but stored locally in a folder created by Moments. In case of a reinstallation or uninstalling GG, they can be lost. This can be easily prevented!
*Clips stored in the Moments folder are for editing purposes only. To be viewed outside of Moments app, they need to be exported first. *
To do so, please open your GG, then navigate to Settings>Moments>Clip Settings.
As you scroll down this section, you will see the location of your clips folder shown as a blue arrow.
*In case of a reinstallation, we recommend backing up your clips in another, separate folder. This way, even after the app is reinstalled, you can simply copy the files back in.*
If you wish to change the locations of where your clips are stored via the orange arrow, you can do so when clicking "change locations." We recommend doing this before any clips are saved locally.
