If your recorded clips in Moments are flickering or displaying a black screen, this may be due to specific graphics settings in your NVIDIA Control Panel. Features like Multi-Frame Sampled AA (MFAA) and Fast VSync can interfere with the recording process, leading to visual artifacts in your clips.
To fix the flickering or black screen problem, follow these steps:
- Open NVIDIA Control Panel:
• Right-click on your desktop and select NVIDIA Control Panel
- Access Program Settings:
• Navigate to 3D Settings > Manage 3D settings
• Click on the Program Settings tab
- Add SteelSeries GG Client:
• Click Add and select the SteelSeries GG Client executable:
• Default path: C:\Program Files\SteelSeries\GG\SteelSeriesGGClient.exe
Adjust Graphics Settings:
• Locate Multi-Frame Sampled AA (MFAA) and set it to Off
• Find Vertical Sync and set it to Use the 3D application setting or Off- Apply Changes:
• Click Apply in the bottom-right corner of the NVIDIA Control Panel - Restart SteelSeries GG:
• Open Task Manager
• Under the Processes tab, locate SteelSeries GG Client.
• Right-click and select End Task.
• Reopen the SteelSeries GG application
