First verify that your hardware setup is able to run Moments
Please ensure all your GPU and CPU drivers are up to date, as Moments works with the most recent updates to your drivers.
If you are running older CPUs and GPUS, make sure that you're running above the minimum specs as outlined below:
• OS: Windows 10/8.1 (check Windows Settings > About this PC)
• CPU (check Windows Settings > About this PC)
o Intel Core I5-2xxx or newer
o AMD FX-4xxx processor or newer
• Network: Broadband Internet Connection
• GPU(check Windows Settings > About this PC)
o NVIDIA GeForce 960 or newer
o AMD Radeon HD 7870 or newer
o Intel HD 4000 or newer
• HDD Space: 500MB
• Video RAM: 2GB
• RAM: 8GB (check Windows Settings > About this PC)
If you're experiencing high resource usage or Framerate drops while capturing gameplay with moments, you can try the following:
- Lower the video quality in 'Settings' -> 'Video Quality' -> Set Video Quality To Medium
- Lower the FPS in 'Settings' -> 'Video Quality' -> set FPS to 30FPS
- If your game supports Game Capture, make sure to select 'Game Capture' in 'Settings' -> 'Game Detection' > Set Selected Game to 'Game Capture'
