The Arctis Pro + GameDAC gives you high-fidelity audio, ChatMix, and surround sound on PC. Follow the steps below to get fully set up and ready to game.
To connect your Arctis Pro + GameDAC to a PC, you’ll need the main headset cable and the USB cable.
Connection:
- Connect the USB cable from the micro-USB port on the back of the GameDAC to your PC
- On the main headset cable, locate the end with the diagonal lines and connect it to the headset jack on the left side of the GameDAC
- Connect the other end of the cable to the Arctis Pro headset
GameDAC Settings:
Press and hold the main control knob until the menu appears

Select Input, then choose:
PC – enables ChatMix and surround sound
High Res – for high-resolution audio playback
Windows Sound Settings
Open Sound Settings > Playback and set GameDAC as your Default Device
In Playback, set GameDAC as your Default Communications Device
Open Recording Devices and set GameDAC as your Default Input Device
