SteelSeries Moments is a tool that lets you capture and share your best gaming moments. It automatically detects when you’re playing a game and records highlights like kills, wins, or other exciting events!
Moments auto-clipping works with many popular games, but not all. Here’s how to check:
- Open the SteelSeries GG app.
- Go to the Settings
- Go to Auto-Clip
- Look for your game in the list of supported games
If your game isn’t listed in the auto-clips section, Moments may not support it yet. You can still record manually, but automatic detection won’t work.
Fullscreen or Windowed Mode?
Moments works best when your game is running in Fullscreen mode. If your game is in windowed mode or running as an administrator, Moments might not detect it.
- Open your game’s settings.
- Look for the display or graphics settings.
- Change the mode to Fullscreen.
- Restart your game and check if Moments detects it.
If your game requires administrator mode, try running the SteelSeries GG app as an administrator:
- Right-click the SteelSeries GG app icon.
- Select Run as administrator.
- Restart Moments and your game.
Can I still record my game if Moments doesn’t detect it?
Yes! You can manually record your game even if Moments doesn’t detect it:
- Open the SteelSeries GG app.
- Go to the Settings
- Go to Shortcuts
- Create your designated hotkey (default Alt+S) while playing a game to capture the current gameplay moment; you can customize this shortcut!
