The Apex 9 TKL can toggle between gaming mode (1mm) and typing mode (1.5mm) using SteelSeries GG or on-device controls. 

To switch modes:

  1. Press and hold the SteelSeries function key and "O" for gaming mode and the number 1 will light up for gaming mode.
  2. Press and hold the SteelSeries function key and "I" for typing mode and the number 2 will light up for typing mode.
