The Nova 7X and Nova 7X Gen 2 headset connects wirelessly through the included 2.4 GHz dongle.
🔌 Setup
Plug the dongle into any USB port on your Xbox using the included USB-A cable.
Make sure the dongle switch is set to “Xbox” mode.
Power on your headset — you’ll hear a connection chime, and the dongle LED will turn solid once connected.
You’re ready to play - no extra pairing needed!
🌍 Multi-Platform Mode
The same dongle can be switched from “Xbox” to “USB”, allowing you to use your headset on:
PC
PlayStation
Nintendo Switch
Android devices
Meta Quest
💡 Tip: If you ever experience connection issues, try re-pairing the headset in the SteelSeries GG or, if you have the Gen 2 version - via the Companion App.
