Users can affect the type of circularity they want for their thumbsticks straight from the OLED screen on the controller. Which option is best suited for you? That's up to the type of game you're playing and your play style!
Square is the default setting, and the other option is Circle.
- Square: It works best when players want easier access to full diagonal input. It can make diagonals feel more responsive or more reachable, which may suit movement-heavy games, platformers, fighting games, or menu navigation.
- Circle: This option is for players who want consistent input strength in every direction. It's typically preferred for precise aiming, camera control, driving, and games where smooth directional control matters.
This setting can be changed through the controller's OLED Menu or through our GG software.
OLED Menu:
- Press and hold the View and Menu buttons to get into the settings menu
- Use the D-pad to navigate down to the "Circularity" setting
- Click the "A" button to access the available options
- Select the option you want for the left thumbstick
- Select the option you want for the right thumbstick
- Each option must be applied and confirmed separately
