The Rival 3 Wireless can operate on two AAA batteries or a single AAA battery.
When you optionally choose to remove one of the batteries in order to decrease the weight of the mouse it will:
- Have no impact on the performance of the mouse
- Lower the overall weight and max battery life
Using two batteries gives you the option of maximum battery life while using one battery provides minimum weight.
