Setting up your Arctis 7X on Xbox is easy — just make sure the dongle is in the right mode before you drop in.
Setup steps
- Set the mode switch on the USB-C Wireless Dongle to Xbox.*
- Connect the USB-C Wireless Dongle to your Xbox. If needed, use the included USB-C to USB-A adapter cable.
- Power on your headset.
The headset should connect automatically and you should hear Xbox audio.
*If the dongle is set to USB, your headset will not connect correctly to the console.
Not getting audio or mic?
Try these quick checks:
- Make sure the dongle is set to Xbox
- Unplug and reconnect the dongle
- Restart the headset
- Check that the headset is not muted
- Turn up the headset volume wheel
- Check your Xbox audio settings under Settings → General → Volume & audio output
