Firmware is the brain behind your device, controlling how it runs. SteelSeries drops firmware updates to boost performance and add new features to your gear. To make sure your setup is running at peak power 💪, it's always a good idea to level up by updating to the latest firmware.
To locate the firmware version of your headset:
- Open the SteelSeries Arctis Companion App and connect your headset via Bluetooth.
- Tap the app settings button.
- In the app settings menu, tap Firmware.
- The firmware menu will display the firmware version for the connected headset.
- Optionally, connect the included headset dongle to a compatible device, and ensure your headset connects to the dongle, to view the firmware version of the dongle.
