The personal mix is your personal sound mix (headphone icon). The mix contains all the channels included and their audio effects.
This also goes for the stream mix which is your audience’s audio (stream icon). This mix should be sent to your streaming software.
We highly recommend including your microphone channel in your stream mix as well as sending only one audio source to your streaming software.
How to manage your channels in your mixes?
When you have completed your routing setup, now it's the time to decide which audio source is being heard by your audience,
If you would like to cut out a channel completely from one of your mixes:
Let's say you are playing with friends and you don't want your audience to hear their uncontrollable laughter in your stream you can do the following,
Head over to your mixing settings (cog icon) from the Chat channel, -
Then under the "send to" option check only the monitor mix, this way you will still be able to hear your friends but your audience will not hear them.
If the communication is getting a bit heated or coms are getting a bit too intense for your stream you can always mute them temporarily for either you, your audience, or both.
