Getting the battery in can feel a little tricky at first, but no worries, once you know the move, it’s smooth sailing.
One important thing to know up front: the Base Station and GameHub do not use a click-in system. The spring mechanism is only there to help eject the battery, not lock it in place. Instead, the battery rests on a small internal notch, which means a gentle downward motion is key to getting it seated properly 😉
↕️ Check the battery orientation
Each battery is conveniently marked so you can tell which side is the Top and which is the Bottom. Always double-check this before inserting it!
Top Bottom
⚡️Align the battery correctly
When placing the battery into the charging slot, make sure the Top (Upper) side is facing upward. The “+”, “T”, and “-” symbols should be facing into the slot. This alignment is important; we don't want the battery getting stuck!
🔒️ Insert and lock it in
Once the battery is aligned, gently slide it into the slot. When it’s fully inside the Base Station or GameHub, apply a small downward push 👇 to seat it onto the notch and lock it in place.

And that’s it! Your battery is now properly inserted and charging, ready to jump back into the game when you are!
