When connected to a Windows PC, the headset will switch between two Bluetooth profiles:
- A2DP, which is one-way, but offers full audio quality
- HFP which is two-way, but much lower quality.
When Windows detects that the microphone is active, it will automatically switch over to the HFP profile to allow the microphone to work. If you are running an app or game that uses the microphone, then you need to have both your default playback and recording devices set to the Hands-free device in Windows.
For full high quality and lag free audio, we recommend using a USB or Analog connection on your device when possible.
