Currently Encountering The Following?
- Can't hear game while in Discord/chat
- Only one audio source works at a time
- Audio cuts out when switching between game and chat
Changing Audio Quality
This may be due to hardware limitations on your system or your audio settings might need to be changed. Try the following solution by changing the audio quality.
- Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Sound > Arctis Headset Game > Properties > Advanced > Set it to 2 channel, 16 bit, 44100 Hz (CD Quality)
- OR Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Sound > Arctis Headset Game > Properties > Advanced > 1 channel, 16 bit, 32000 Hz (FM Radio Quality)
If the above steps don't work:
- Check if Game/Chat balance is centered in GG Software
- Verify Windows default audio devices
- Update your headset's firmware
- Try different USB ports (We recommend using a 3.0 USB port)
TIP: Audio dropouts usually happen when Windows or another app is taking control of your sound devices. Restart GG or unplug and reconnect your headset to refresh the connection.
