Firmware updates are only available using the SteelSeries GG desktop app for Windows.

To update the firmware of your headset:
- Download, install, and open SteelSeries GG on your desktop computer.
- Connect your headset dongle and headset to your computer.*
- Power on and connect your headset to the dongle.
- Go to the Engine app in SteelSeries GG to locate your connected headset.
- If your headset is already on the latest firmware, there will not be a banner on the device card. If your headset and dongle require a firmware update, there will be a banner on the device card for your connected headset. Click this banner and follow the instructions to complete the firmware update.
SteelSeries commits to providing free-of-charge security and corrective software updates. For all SteelSeries GG-compatible devices that are certified by TCO Certified, this would be for a minimum of five (5) years after the end of placement of the product on the market, ensuring each device retains its initial functionality throughout the supported period.
Updates are delivered via SteelSeries GG — our free desktop application for PC, available at steelseries.com/gg. Connect your device and open SteelSeries GG to check for and install the latest updates."
*If you have the Arctis Gamebuds, connect your Gamebuds case (with the Gamebuds in them) to your computer.
