The RMA process works in the following manner:
1) Submit a ticket on our RMA Webform.
2) A SteelSeries RMA agent will approve or decline your claim. Approval factors include: If you are within the warranty period, have a valid proof of purchase from an authorized re-seller, and can prove ownership of the product.
3) If approved, you will receive instructions on where to ship your defective unit.
We highly recommend using a track-able shipping method and signing up for delivery notifications from your shipping carrier. Once the item has been received, we recommend you respond to your ticket as soon as possible, in order to maximize how quickly we can process your claim.
4) Your SteelSeries RMA agent will perform a final review of your RMA claim once the product has been received. Lastly, they will issue a coupon code, worth the value of your defective product. The coupon code which will act as a form of store credit on the SteelSeries webstore. Please be advised that the value of the product may be different than what you purchased. If your product is not available on the webstore, we will provide a coupon for the value of the most comparable replacement.
